This is Cole's first ArenaX that he was so excited for. He had been wanting to do this for a while and we were worried about everything. Being the sensible parents(hmm this is familiar being on the opposite end as a kid)after many lengthy discussions we determined that this is what he wanted and needed our support. We realized we needed to relax a little and allow him to start making some decisions of his own supporting his interests and doing it the safest way we could. We are now glad we did. It not only makes us proud to see him out there doing what he likes, but also gives us another reason to get out as a family and become closer. The first race date ended up being a one night before decision without any guidance on expectations, rules, or knowledge of this outfit. We called friends that were already allowing their kids to race and asked as many questions as possible, all the while preparing his bike and making sure all his gear was safe and in good repair. We showed late( because that is what this Wasemiller family does) and he didn't make his practice laps. So blindly he raced a track, in front of a crowd, and did one hell of a good job for his first time. Send him your support by commenting your thoughts.
